Continuing on this thread to save starting another one.

So I was over a week in bed, then I felt better and was out and about for a few days.

Then yesterday I suddenly felt rubbish again, really tired and ill  and couldn't go to a quite important meeting in the evening.

I'm not looking for sympathy, I just wonder whether anybody else has had something similar lately?  And if so how long it lasted?

I'm assuming there isn't anything much I can do about it except rest.

Edit: I'm not sure why the ever-charming Humdinger finds my (and others' non funny posts) so amusing. They must lead a very sad life. (admin edit - removed)

I've had covid twice that I know about and am pretty sure I have had it twice more without testing positive... Both times I had it it came in waves, so my advice is make sure you rest up properly, otherwise it can last even longer. Get loads of vitamins, esp C and D, and as much sleep as possible. Hope you feel better soon. Best wishes

    • Seems to be back on now although pressure reduced especially for hot water via boiler. Hopefully I can have a shower in the morning.
    • It’s far too hot. Dogs should not be out and you’re right to post this.
    • Agree that you have to be so careful dogs in this heat… but please dont judge so quickly.  Its one thing if you see a dog at midday being thrown the ball endlessly, but if you see a dog en route / somewhere - You dont know if that dog was being walked to the vet for an emergency appointment.. or taken to a friend’s house that is cooler etc.  And if they live in a flat, they might desperately need to be taken out for a quick pee / poo !
    • I know,  absolutely crazy.  A dog has never died because it didn't have a walk, but dogs do die if walked in this heat. Perhaps the owners should put on a thick fur coat, take their shoes off and jog round the pavements, and see how that feels! 🤬
