Plumbing

We recently moved to ED and have had some extensive work carried out on the house. We have been using Mickey from MPPlumbing & Heating 07956528763 and his team for general plumbing, central heating and bath suites! We found Mickey on Ed forum through some great recommendations and we can honestly say we have been very impressed with the quality and hard work produced as well as very tidy and overcoming some tricky problem solving at a very reasonable price! We can't speak highly enough and are very happy and comfortable recommending them!!!! We are now looking for a qualified electrician to carry out various different jobs around the house and an upgrade on our existing consumer unit.

We would be very grateful if someone could forward or post details for a good electrician!!!!!!!

    • You have to use the right extinguisher for the type of fire - water/foam not to be used for live electrical fires for example. A quick Google says powder extinguishers can be used on the most different types of fire. In a public/commercial setting fire extinguishers have to be serviced every year. Not sure the recommendation for residential ones, but when you buy extinguishers and fire blankets check if there's an expiry date.
    • Thanks, yes I need the y piece for the water to go to IN both washing machine AND the dishwasher but the y piece doesn’t fit on the B yellow pipe…  I’m not worried about the waste pipe for now, I’m just concerned about the supply to get water in to both appliances
    • Not sure about the word “input” - do you mean outflow / waste ? Red figure A looks like the sink overflow. If B is the washing machine outflow then that’s where you want your Y fitting. ( assuming all above conjecture is correct). I’d put a cap on that chrome threaded dead connection too. Don’t just rely on the valve. It all looks a bit of a mess TBH 🫣.
