Anyone had roof insulation done recently?

I am looking to get 270mm + insulation in attic any recommendations re floor or roof of attic? Thanks

From the stories I've heard Alice, get proper insulation and not foam as that causes more problems then it's worth. 

My insulation is between the floor rafters and does a great job. Only thing to think is if you are going to board it out then you will need to consider some sort of lifter to take the boards above the insulation if your joists aren't that thick.
