Chimney and roof surveyor recommendations

Recommended Posts

I am looking for advise on a trusted chimney surveyor to come and assess why there is penetrative damp in my chimney breast wall and sloping ceiling.

We had roof work done a few months ago and after this happened (the damp patch appeared) had the roofers back to replace all the lead flashing and do some repointing to the chimney.

Not a recommended roofer didn’t like their service and think their work previously has caused the issue.

But now I want yo make sure there is no leak and if there is any issue with the chimney stack itself letting water in.

Any recommendations for chimney/roof surveyors?

anyone used Alpine Surveyors drone service before?

The house is big divided into flats and the roof is really high up so for proper survey scaffolding is required.

Any advise help to find a trusted surveyor or expert who will find the issue and be able to resolve it?

already had damp specialist out and Aspect damp/roof expert.

loft is above my flat and no damp in loft or the wall in lift above chimney.

thanks

    • Most of the groceries shops in Lordship Lane have a security presence…curious thing is I and another woman recently saw a shop lifter lift and not pay for a couple of packet of steaks, veg and bottle of wine..  Literally walked Pat the tills, one member of staff and security guard despite someone else going in front by a few people and mentioning person in question! I have to say, speechless and admired their bravado - I would not have the guts and knowing my luck, if I accidentally didn’t put something tru the till despite receipt would prob get stopped! Yes, worked with families, homeless and other people who were struggling for food so I do understand why they do it.. sad when you think about it, that in this day and age, all sorts of c people need assistance and help from community in general, food banks, olio etc….
