Handyman/Carpenter needed to fix water leaking in under backdoor and repair damaged flooring

We've started having water leak in under the threshold of our back door, with the water coming up through the wooden flooring near the backdoor. This happens whenever there is heavy rain, and we think it has started due to us paving outside the back door and raising the level of the ground such that water can get in. Will require someone to look at and potentially replace (and seal) the threshold for the back door, likely add a rain deflector, and replace the wooden flooring that has been affected (we have spares). Can anyone recommend someone for this type of job?

Thanks!

    • Hello.   Thanks Nigel and Hparker 😀   I've got new slots available for new students looking for a piano teacher or guitar teacher.   You could start in the new term beginning September, or I'm also available adhoc-styles through the summer holidays at times.   I teach all ages, in most styles, in lots of different ways according to how you learn/like to learn.   Give me a call or text on 07730 402336.   I have connections to lots of performance opportunities/networks too.   I run regular events /student concerts, and play in bands/perform.   Natalie.
    • So do I, but I think they are in trouble as well.  Anyway, that space wouldn't be big enough.
    • I'm not talking about Starmer. I was responding to a post which  said that  Corbyn was unelectable. How people voted in the "more hotly contested election" is irrelevant. Corbyn wasn't leading the Labour Party then. Starmer was. And the turnout for Labour reflects that.
