Helena Partridge
I chose these because they are quiet, and their SmokeStop filter comprises layers of both HEPA filter and active carbon: HEPA Filter - removes dust, pollen, smoke, pet dander, dust mites, car exhaust, soot, fungi and mould spores. Active Carbon Filter - for removing heavy gaseous pollutants such as cigarette and cigar smoke or VOCs (volatile organic compounds found in household paints and cleaning products). Size: 52cm H, 44cm W, 20.5 D Filters need replacing every 6 months. Currently £65.00 from breathingspace.co.uk, £59.00 from plainair.co.uk. Although this model of air purifier is no longer made, I checked with Blueair who said they have no plans to discontinue production of their 200 Series SmokeStop Filters. Bought in 2017 but only used for 2 years max. £120 and £100 for the air purifiers (one has some grey marks on the front), £35.00 for the brand new filter, still in its box. Text Helena 07947 104 135.
