Bob Buzzard
How often do people get their houses serviced? Someone put a leaflet about house checks through my letter box the other day. It looks really good - for £25 a month they’ll come every 6 months to check everything in your house is working ok and doesn’t need mending or replacing so you don’t have to worry about checking things yourself, like lifting up the carpet to check the underlay is working or if the thermostats dials are moving as expected. And if something needs doing, for a fixed fee of £150 they’ll sort it out (materials extra). 1 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/335055-getting-your-house-serviced/ Share on other sites
Pugwash
Is it a scam? Lots of talk on the television this morning about more scams i.e leaflets/cold calling etc. Advice given includes checking with Companies House if registered. Never heard of house service.
