Staircase strengthening

We used Green Handy Man Sam (Sam Potgieter) - http://www.greenhandymansam.com/ to strengthen our 1870s creaky staircase. When you walked up the stairs it felt like they were falling away from the wall and the noise they made was awful. I was worried that the whole staircase might need to be replaced. Sam was confident in his approach, got his head down and within a matter of hours had fixed the problem. As he finished early, he asked whether there was anything else he could do with the time left over. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for a similar job.

    • Thanks, yes I need the y piece for the water to go to IN both washing machine AND the dishwasher but the y piece doesn’t fit on the B yellow pipe…  I’m not worried about the waste pipe for now, I’m just concerned about the supply to get water in to both appliances
    • Not sure about the word “input” - do you mean outflow / waste ? Red figure A looks like the sink overflow. If B is the washing machine outflow then that’s where you want your Y fitting. ( assuming all above conjecture is correct). I’d put a cap on that chrome threaded dead connection too. Don’t just rely on the valve. It all looks a bit of a mess TBH 🫣.
    • Yard Sale does have some seating but not as much as FM.
    • Can anyone recommend a local private swimming teacher or class provision for 3 year olds? We lost our place after the closure of Dulwich Leisure Centre and I can’t seem to find any availability and/or venues that take under 4s? Ideally it would be weekends but potentially Friday if I didn’t need to get in with him. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks!
