Can any one jog my memory the waitrose add on tv was the tune used to open the film Woodstock who was the band and the name of the tune

hi bob - it's called 'going up the country' by the fantastic canned heat. they were the real mccoy by the way, blues fans who found urban life too much to bear and went to live in the woods. that was in the sixties, god only knows what they would have made of modern life now. and they recorded a fantastic version of 'lets work together' covered by roxy music.

Thanks I now remember I saw canned heat about 1971 at the Oval great band I can now go to Sleep to night.
