Trying out a balance bike...

I was going to get our 2-year-old a balance bike for his birthday and wondered if there was anywhere nearby where you can go and try them out? I was going to order online but thought that if there was somewhere nearby where we could try various models that might be better (and more fun).

Decathlon in Surrey Quays, but only their own brand. Bon Velo in Herne Hill has loads, but the shop is small for test riding :-) however the owners are helpful and knowledgeable about kids bikes.

DO you mean normal bikes or balance bikes, etta?

Balance bikes. I think that Bon Velo stock 3-4 different kinds. Decathlon has one, own-brand balance bike that seems to get good reviews on the forum.

My 4 year old has just upgraded from decathlon balance bike to bike with no stabilisers like a duck to water

Loads of space to test as well
