Hello all 🙂

I live in East Dulwich on the Rye and have lived in the area for a few years.

I'm currently undertaking a legal conversion course before starting work as a trainee solicitor in September. I've previously tutored children for the 11+ and for GCSEs, have a DBS certificate, and some experience baby-sitting and helping with friends' small children. I am responsible, diligent, and a good cook. I really like children, and at sixth form (donkey's years ago!) led a 'Reader Leader' scheme to encourage year seven pupils who struggled with reading and writing to read for fun.

I would be interested in providing ad hoc support to a family with children during term time, with a view to providing childcare during the 6 week school holiday. If you are wondering what to do with your children during the summer but don't want to hire a full-time nanny, then please get in touch!

Thanks and all best,

Eve

    • And from what I remember, she eventually cut the tea shop for a similar  reason to chandelier.  Chariot style buggies
    • Oh yes, it could have been about there, I can't remember exactly. At one point there seemed to be a load of pizza places opening on NCR. I vaguely remember the one we used to use was put out of business by another one which opened. Wasn't Grace and Favour's food offering more of a tea shop at the back of the actual shop? If memory serves the owner, whose name escapes me now, was one of the earliest people I know to move to Hastings. Which must now be crammed with South East Londoners 🤣
