Not strictly East Dulwich but very close and if this development goes ahead, it will destroy a nature corridor essential for wildlife. There are many rare species on this site.

Thanks for the heads up.

may I suggest you either put a much clearer explanation about what you are Actually objecting to, i.e. what the development is  that you are worried about and a link to the planning application.  You may know but you need to state what it is.

The clearer it is the quicker and easier it is for people to appreciate what the actually development, people don't have time to play through avid, then search an application

If you haven't already approach your local councillors to see what their view is on the development and see if they can get any informal insight from the planning officers in terms on how the application is viewed.

Why not in addition to quoting the application number, state what the application is for, as is written on the council website, its a simple cut and past job, IMO you're not helping yourself. And NO, I'm not going to read through the current 44 documents pertaining to the application. Suggest you state what the application is for and summarise what has happened so far to gain momentum and support. ps. you need to do likewise with the title of the petition.

Sadly I have no life and did delve into this.  If it's gone to planning committee and been passed unless you are very rich and have a good case then you are not going to do anything about it.  For Judicial Review you are talking maybe £20k including Lewisham's costs if you are not successful.

There have been representations by the local community group which is a good way of opposing if this is not your immediate neighbourhood.  There is a mass of documents including ecological surveys, and although the sound was not good councillors had what appears to be a good discussion.

There is a shortage of homes and slithers of green will be built on.  Why not celebrate the good environmental initiatives in the borough, numerous small and large parks, Blackehath,  cemeteries with abundant wildlife, Waterlink Way, the railway cutting nature centres - Devonshire Road, Buckthorne Road, New Cross Cutting, Garthorne, Dacres Wood etc etc https://lewisham.gov.uk/inmyarea/openspaces/nature-reserves

And visit the wonderful cafe at Manor house Gardens park.

Lewisham must be the envy of other local authorities in the area in this respect.

If you want a good cause, how about Aquarius Golf Course, the lack of public access and looks rather unwelcoming to nature.

    • I cannot speak highly enough about my experience with Yousef and his team for my recent house move in East Dulwich. Downsizing and relocating  my stuff from a house to a flat was made a calm and pleasant experience. The move included large and heavy items of furniture, taking items apart and reassembling in the new place, as well as loads of boxes. Nothing was too much trouble. I can thoroughly recommend this service, you will not be disappointed!

    • Just seen that a lease has been agreed for the Tile Giant site next to Toolstation at the Grove Tavern end of Lordship Lane. Does anyone have the inside scoop on who has taken the lease?
    • The GM's in Dulwich has been gone for around 3 years, so the most recent post must be about the Crystal Palace branch, I presume the same staff moved over? I've been going to Tash at Kuki for a while, never had a problem.
