Frozen food

I have a freezer full of food to donate BUT I haven't found a food bank that will take frozen food. I also haven't found one that will let me drop off evenings or weekends. I'm at work during the day. 

Added complication its I don't have a car, I'll be bringing it by taxi. 

Anyone have sensible suggestions?

I thought the Albrighton community fridge would take frozen food. 

I don't have a car otherwise I would have helped.

If you find somewhere, I have a car (shock horror!) and will happily collect and drop off for you. Just PM me.

Albrighton do have freezers and give out frozen food. Definitely worth a try.

There are a number of food banks in N and E London. Maybe easier to goggle them or look up Hackney Council's list of warm hubs and work your way through those who also have food banks etc. I think it is also the Trussell Trust that operates some food banks.

I've done this but haven't found one in Hackney that takes frozen food

I'd have thought frozen food wouldn't be accepted anywhere, because you couldn't tell if it had been thawed (and if so for how long) and then refrozen.

For some things this probably  wouldn't matter, except for possible loss of  quality (?) but for other things it could be a health hazard.

Thank you for trying but I'd already looked at these and they collect from businesses/have a minimum weight donation.

We do in fact take frozen food ... whatever the form, if its food we generally take it!
