tommybc
Hi all, Wanting to replace some of our old original timber floor boards (About 20% needs replacing) and annoyingly they seem to vary in width. Im after a few varying lengths of 132mm width -found a few on reclaimed floorboard websites this size but I only need a few so seems excessive. The rest of the floor has about a million layers of paint on anyway so as long as theyre not falling apart/rotten, theyll be getting painted so them being in good condition isnt too important to me. Will carry on checking skips in the meantime Cheers Tommy Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/340677-ripping-out-your-old-original-flooring-im-after-a-few-lengths/ Share on other sites
GrahamP
Hi Tommy, Sorry I can't help with any boards at present but have a couple of thoughts. Look out for boards that are wider as well. A circular saw can easily trim them to the correct width and I could help you with that. The thickness of the boards is more important to get a good finish.
