Plasterer required

Recommended Posts

I would like to strongly recommend John Carey a plasterer I have used again recently & have used many times in the past. His number is 07956 667721

John is old school, time severed & offers an excellent service for all plastering including new ceilings.

You can see some of his work here www.https://plus.google.com/112235336305053476990/about?gl=uk&hl=en

Has carried out work for other nappy valley members who have all been very pleased, you can also contact me if you would like to see the recent work carried out for me.

we also used Aaron to do three rooms in our Victorian flat. Removed wallpaper and skimmed for new wallpaper in bedroom which looks like brand new. Also he did a fantastic job effectively restoring our cracked living room ceiling which others told us we would have to replace or recover with wallboard. He did a super job and I give him our highest recommendation! His prices seemed quite reasonable for the top level work he does.

    • You have to use the right extinguisher for the type of fire - water/foam not to be used for live electrical fires for example. A quick Google says powder extinguishers can be used on the most different types of fire. In a public/commercial setting fire extinguishers have to be serviced every year. Not sure the recommendation for residential ones, but when you buy extinguishers and fire blankets check if there's an expiry date.
    • Thanks, yes I need the y piece for the water to go to IN both washing machine AND the dishwasher but the y piece doesn’t fit on the B yellow pipe…  I’m not worried about the waste pipe for now, I’m just concerned about the supply to get water in to both appliances
    • Not sure about the word “input” - do you mean outflow / waste ? Red figure A looks like the sink overflow. If B is the washing machine outflow then that’s where you want your Y fitting. ( assuming all above conjecture is correct). I’d put a cap on that chrome threaded dead connection too. Don’t just rely on the valve. It all looks a bit of a mess TBH 🫣.
