mrure26
Does anyone know how to remove this. It was done a few days ago and my efforts have been useless. If no tips available does anyone know a reasonable carpet cleaning person. Thanks Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/34130-carpet-stain-removal-herbal-tea/ Share on other sites
coco99
Hi,I'd try the following, though given that it was a few days ago and you've tried already I wouldn't get your hopes too high.I'd make up a weak solution of Stergene (a liquid woollens hand washing detergent) and cold water and add a tablespoon of white vinegar to it, test in an inconspicuous place for a couple of hours, blot with plain water and leave to dry to make sure your carpet doesn't loose colour. If the test goes OK dampen the stain area with the solution, not too much, and leave for about 15 mins before blotting with a plain white towel from the outside of the stain inwards then blotting the area again with plain water and leaving to dry. If this doesn't work I can personally recommend A & M Carpet Cleaners based in Nunhead.
