jazzer
"The price of stamps will rise again on 2 April - the fourth increase in two years for the cost of sending a letter first class. Royal Mail said the price of a first-class stamp would rise by 10p to £1.35 and second-class stamps would increase by 10p to 85p" Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/341665-royal-mail-postage-to-increase-yet-again/ Share on other sites
Spartacus
Royal Mail (RM) claims that due to falling demand in letters and increased package demand that they are having to change their model. It's obvious to most that to attract customers you meed to provide a cost effective reliable service yet RM appears to be acting contrary to what you would expect with this price increase Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/341665-royal-mail-postage-to-increase-yet-again/#findComment-1657706 Share on other sites
Esra
This is going to make people more poorer and disconnected 😞 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/341665-royal-mail-postage-to-increase-yet-again/#findComment-1660735 Share on other sites
ElleRob
Yet another increase, its absolutely disgusting. I was charged £7.95 to send documents recorded delivery last week. I asked for the Signed for option that only costs £2.50 but the Post Office refused & said they would only send them recorded delivery. I used the signed for option yesterday. malumbu
It doesn't work as a commercial venture. Bit churlish to say I told you so. I told you so. I'll send less greetings cards. What pees me off is international postage where you can no longer send light letters at 10 grammes, normal ones up to 20g, now all at the much more expensive 100 g Didn't we vote to take back control and price everything according to irrational units like ounces? That's some obscure humour btw Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/341665-royal-mail-postage-to-increase-yet-again/#findComment-1660855 Share on other sites
