Electrician recommendation - Mike Docherty

I just wanted to add a recommendation for Mike. He recently fixed our kitchen circuit as something had gone wrong. Mike came round and found the issue fairly quickly, then explained to us the repair work he was going to do before quickly solving the problem. All in all we are very happy with the work and would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone looking for a decent local electrician. His mobile is 07920 134172.
Mike recently fitted a rather complicated light in our house and also helped out when we had an electrical fault. He is quick to respond, friendly, knowledgeable and, more importantly in my opinion, honest. He was also transparent about his charges so we knew we wouldn't get any hidden surprises. I will definitely be using Mike again and would strongly recommend others to also. His number is 07920 134172.

Hi everyone, if you are looking for a good electrician with good rates, give Mike a call. He installed a new circuit for my cooker for me. He was efficient and fast. All done at a good price and we're very happy with the work. His number is 07920134172 or you can email him - [email protected]

    • You have to use the right extinguisher for the type of fire - water/foam not to be used for live electrical fires for example. A quick Google says powder extinguishers can be used on the most different types of fire. In a public/commercial setting fire extinguishers have to be serviced every year. Not sure the recommendation for residential ones, but when you buy extinguishers and fire blankets check if there's an expiry date.
    • Thanks, yes I need the y piece for the water to go to IN both washing machine AND the dishwasher but the y piece doesn’t fit on the B yellow pipe…  I’m not worried about the waste pipe for now, I’m just concerned about the supply to get water in to both appliances
    • Not sure about the word “input” - do you mean outflow / waste ? Red figure A looks like the sink overflow. If B is the washing machine outflow then that’s where you want your Y fitting. ( assuming all above conjecture is correct). I’d put a cap on that chrome threaded dead connection too. Don’t just rely on the valve. It all looks a bit of a mess TBH 🫣.
