Childminder/Home Help

Hi All,

First time poster here so please be gentle if I get something wrong!

 

My wife and I are looking for either a child minder or maybe home help (if that’s such a thing?). Please feel free to suggest which would be best, and if you know a person or agency to point us in the correct direction.

Our situation is that we have a 3 month old son and need some support, as we do not have a family network nearby.  This is magnified because I have to work long hours.

We initially thought we might look to get a child minder to come to us for 3-4 hours a day. On reflection my wife would like to continue ‘looking after’ our little one but we would like to get some help in the day to day running of the house, probably from around 1pm to 4pm. The type of thing we would ask for is to make a basic lunch, tidy up a little, sort out the dishwasher, sanitise pumps/bottles, help with the dishwasher and the laundry. 
 

In all honesty I would not even know where to start looking so any help here is appreciated.
