We found Aaron via this forum and wish to endorse the many recommendations he receives:

Aaron is neat, tidy, punctual, and polite. He doesn't disappear for hours on end to buy supplies, and neither does he leave for breakfast twenty minutes after he's arrived.

But most importantly, Aaron restored the walls and ceiling of a crumbling room (following water damage) back to their original smooth and unblemished state, with great skill and care.

His work is first class, his demeanor superb, and his charges more than reasonable. We cannot recommend him more highly.

Aaron was very generous with his time and advice when I called him on a Saturday. He then re-plastered the boxing around the flue and fitted a new panel of wood above boiler cupboard. He did the plastering and some carpentry, as needed, at a very fair price. He fitted the work in at short notice, turned up when arranged, and completed the repairs thoroughly to a high standard. Very pleased with the result.

We first used Aaron's services for a badly damaged wall that had gone back to the brickwork due to water ingress from the bay window.

We found Aaron initially through recommendation and were very fortunate to do so as we already had a couple of quotes from trades found online that were just ridiculous, clearly just a rip off, so not sure what we would of done without that recommendation.

We have just had more work completed by him, two walls skimmed and more comprehensive work where the brickwork was exposed around the fireplace. The wall above the fireplace was the original plaster finish and in good condition but the original plan was to have the whole wall replastered but we couldnt get the tv off the wall bracket so asked Aaron if he could just plaster up to the tv, not ideal but not much choice. Aaron didnt have any issue with that atall and more than happy to do it. Amazingly the join between the new plaster and old plaster is invisible. Perfect feather edge finish.

Aaron is very pleasant natured, he turns up on time, he doesnt mess about and gets on with the job. He works in a very clean manner. He doesnt try and inflate the job to make it more expensive. We found him to be extremely competitively priced. Both jobs have been finished to an excellent standard. The finish is so smooth its like glass. We will certainly be using his services again in the future.

    • If that better choice, better price and better availability were available locally instead of being delivered - what choice would you make? Not everyone makes ethical choices yet consumers have all the power. If you realised that your changing your consumer decisions could directly impact the environment around you, would you make different choices?
    • Another strong recommendation for Niko! As a first time buyer, I was new to choosing my own tradespeople, and Niko was recommended by a neighbour. My jobs were simple -- checking a macerating toilet, replacing the internal water mains stopcock valve, and replacing the tap on a bath so it could become a shower -- but he did them very efficiently and professionally. His prices were very reasonable. He gave good advice on all of the above projects and really cared about helping me adjust to being a homeowner, making sure I was making the best decisions for my house in the long term. This sort of advice is invaluable when you don't yet know what you are doing! I will absolutely be calling him again.
    • It is not laziness that sends me shopping on the Internet, it's also the better choice, better prices, and also the availability of items impossible to obtain either locally or in central London. I try to avoid Amazon for both ethical and quality issues.  The internet has enabled many small businesses to trade which would not have been possible before, surely that's a good thing.  The genie is well out of the bottle.
