Spartacus
Came across this company recently who have potentially solved the issue of cargo bikes taking up so much space when not in use or when no cargo is required. https://www.convercycle.com/en/ With this sort of thinking, maybe the use of cargo bikes can be increased and it won't be long before we see more innovation like this. Lol what next, a car you can fold up smaller when you travel on your own 😂 1 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/342992-interesting-solution-to-owning-a-cargo-bike/ Share on other sites
Sue
That's very clever, but crikey they are expensive! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/342992-interesting-solution-to-owning-a-cargo-bike/#findComment-1661179 Share on other sites
Dogkennelhillbilly
That's about what cargo ebikes cost. The motor and the battery are both amazing pieces of technology, but they don't come cheap. No-one looks twice at a £4000 car... Spartacus
I agree, but like most things, someone will find a cheaper way of making them I suspect Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/342992-interesting-solution-to-owning-a-cargo-bike/#findComment-1661182 Share on other sites
Earl Aelfheah
Cheaper, quicker and greener than a car Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/342992-interesting-solution-to-owning-a-cargo-bike/#findComment-1665317 Share on other sites
Rockets
Quicker than a car…crikey how fast do they go? I have PTSD from a folding bike I had as a kid that snapped in half when I did a jump! I look at things like this and Bromptons and get the fear which is why I stick to sturdier bikes!
