6 Mid Century vintage Ercol brand Quaker dining chairs for sale

These vintage chairs are highly sought after and are in good used condition. For those not familiar with Ercol, this famous UK mid century brand is still going strong today with the modern version of these chairs going for £500+ each (see link below).

Ready for upcycling - they look great stripped or painted. 2 of the chairs are currently painted with white Annie Sloan chalk paint but it is looking tired. I started to strip one of the chairs - chalk paint removes easily with water and a bit of effort.  The two painted chairs look to have been originally stained a medium brown once the chalk paint is removed but may be able to be lighter if the stain were also removed.  The other 4 chairs are a lighter 'golden' colour.

Asking £75 per chair ONO (especially for 4 or 6 chairs) . Please DM if you are interested. For collection from ED / Forest Hill.

    • I don't really see the issue.  It's taking  up a small part of Goose Green.  I was able to happily eat my lunch there today witthout the fair impinging on my space or enjoyment. I presume they have chosen that location as it is near the playground, so parents with young children often go there at the weekend. • Here you go again trying to twist things saying I made personal saying I don't feel safe, but it's you firing and demanding answers, you're not the police and nor are you a moderator. No its not a reasonable question, nor is saying I should go live somewhere else.  You have a habit on here of "demanding" answers, not on.
    • Is this a popular event? If great demand for this sort of event on such a small space then so be it. It is just with Peckham Common so very close by just wondering why this is considered a preferable venue for this kind of thing?
    • Another recommendation for Jason who is brilliant all-round. He plastered our rooms and hallways (some walls were blown and needed re-boarding), replaced two ceilings and over-boarded one. From the start he was always communicative, happy to pop by to assess first, and transparent about the various options and their associated costs. He worked thoroughly, going above and beyond to make sure every job was finished to a high standard and is very fairly priced, particularly considering the hours he puts in. We’re so pleased with the results of our flat and have already recommended him unreservedly to others. Also helps that he is just a sound guy who’s really easy to chat to!
