Artificial grass

Recommended Posts

Aswell as the daily sweeping of debris from the grass, leaves, soil etc if a stray cat does its toilet you also need to clean that out too, not an easy task. I recently done some gardening for a customer of mine and it was very difficult to keep clean on a daily basis. It needs regular sweeping and hosing down. It does look amazing though!

We had this done about 2yrs ago

aprrox ?28 p sq metre

Company came in removed old lawn then they flatten ground lay sand then a top membrane that allows water to drain but stops weeds/grass growing through

then they laid grass on top, we went for the most expensive but our garden is small probably 5mts by 3mts

we had concrete beds at the side so they could glue grass to this and have a strong hold.

Works well and we are very happy. you can leave everything on it and does not kill the grass underneath.

Quick brush and looks good.

Would not do on large gardens as it only comes in certain sizes so you would have joins and these can be pulled up by animals

    • At 00.56am on Tuesday this scrote was filmed entering our car. He had a face mask and all dark clothing however the clothing had certain distinguishing features. Perhaps someone can identify the writing on the jacket and trousers. Video clip was too large to upload so here are a few snapshots Pleased to say he went away empty handed as we leave nothing of any value in the car.
    • Highly recommend James - fixed the electric fault in our kitchen and was punctual and reasonably priced.
    • That's very very clever! Ah, ok. So I just put it in the green bin? Probably better in a black bin bag so it doesn't blow all over the street/recycling centre, but then what happens when they burn it in the black bag? And how do they "get energy from it" when it burns? Is it turned into electricity or something? I went on a tour of the recycling centre years ago, but I don't remember them talking about that! Thanks, I have far too much, it would take years! I do have two "daleks" on my allotment but I would need to store the shredded paper somewhere before using it, and I really want it out of the house. It's taking up more room than the boxes of folders did before 🤣
    • Agreed, it absolutely is, but not as easy to get these days.  We are going to Narbonne next month by train and I tried almost every permutation to avoid going to Paris, but to no avail.
