Abba - 50 years

I'm getting a bit grumpy about the sycophantic fuss about Abba and their Eurovision win.  Middle of the road radio stations are full of it.  They made some excellent pop songs in their 8 year career, but by 77 had peaked and declined slowly over the next five.  Now I may may not have some of their albumns on vinyl, I may or may not have seen Benny playing on a street in Stockholm for a charity event, and I may or may have now sung an Abba song in a Stockholm bar in the 90s.  But I don't bang on about it.  Well not all of the time.

Just a fun thread, but whinge away if you wish, or tell me how wrong I am/how dare I.  Certainly well marketed including in virtual form.

In deed!  But I am even more grumpy now as nobody has any views on Abba.  There is more interest in M&S in Walworth Road (really?) and the phone number for council tax.

Of course nobody can be grumpy when listening to Abba, I say thank you for the music......
