Hello,

I would like to recommend friendly Andy of Andyman Services who recently refelted my Shed roof and replaced some rotten timbers.

Two men turned up at the time arranged and everything was done smoothly and professionally at a reasonable price.

I wouldn't hesitate to contact Andy in the future for any other jobs that need doing.

Another vote for Andy, who I can’t recommend enough.

Andy is immensely kind, reliable and trustworthy with an eye for detail. He completes jobs to a really high standard for a very reasonable price. Andy is hands down my go to, when I need anything done, from large to small jobs, Andy’s is the only number you need.

I have no worries giving him a key, leaving him in the property on his own and what’s more he always leave the place spick and span.

We have just used Andy to reboard our loft, decorate a bathroom, repair our shed roof and other small jobs. As usual, we recommend him wholeheartedly – he is reliable, hardworking, capable and honest.

In the last 3 years he has completed many different jobs for us, including repainting the front of our house, replaced sockets and completely refurbished another property inside and out, including returfing the lawn.

Another recommendation for Andy - he came to our home recently to make some repairs for general maintenance that needed doing.

He helped us fix plumbing jobs & installed a washing machine. He also fixed a leak on a downpipe. He also hung up some pictures for us / put up some shelves & helped fix a door that was sticking.

We have used Andy for years so if you are looking for a decent / honest handyman, give Andy a call - he's our go to & a wealth of knowledge - 07564 194363

Andy has just finished a load of jobs at our rental property in East Dulwich. I cannot recommend him more highly. Not only has he done a brilliant job decorating and undertaking maintenance but he has gone over and above to be helpful, letting me know things that needed fixing and even putting together furniture for me.

He's mega polite, professional, trustworthy and an all round top guy! I wouldn't use anyone else for maintenance from now on.

    • He did mention it's share of freehold, I’d be very cautious with that. It can turn into a nightmare if relationships with neighbours break down. My brother had a share of freehold in a flat in West Hampstead, and when he needed to sell, the neighbour refused to sign the transfer of the freehold. What followed was over two years of legal battles, spiralling costs and constant stress. He lost several potential buyers, and the whole sale fell through just as he got a job offer in another city. It was a complete disaster. The neighbour was stubborn and uncooperative, doing everything they could to delay the process. It ended in legal deadlock, and there was very little anyone could do without their cooperation. At that point, the TA6 form becomes the least of your worries; it’s the TR1 form that matters. Without the other freeholder’s signature on that, you’re stuck. After seeing what my brother went through, I’d never touch a share of freehold again. When things go wrong, they can go really wrong. If you have a share of freehold, you need a respectful and reasonable relationship with the others involved; otherwise, it can be costly, stressful and exhausting. Sounds like these neighbours can’t be reasoned with. There’s really no coming back from something like this unless they genuinely apologise and replace the trees and plants they ruined. One small consolation is that people who behave like this are usually miserable behind closed doors. If they were truly happy, they’d just get on with their lives instead of trying to make other people’s lives difficult. And the irony is, they’re being incredibly short-sighted. This kind of behaviour almost always backfires.
