Back in my early days I worked with under fives, and we would take them out and about to various places. If I was taking care of a girl, there was no question about which lavatory I would visit. Always the Ladies. I'd ensure that if there were women in the place they were clear about why I was there, I don't ever remember a time when I was taken to task by a woman using the facilities, they were either understanding, or actively helpful. I wouldn't dream of taking a little girl into a gent's toilet. Men lined up at urinals? Spitting and farting? No, there are some things that a child doesn't need to see.Woodie, I know the people in the Uplands. Explain what you're doing, they'll understand and all will be coo-day-la.
