PD, I will give you the benefit of the doubt that your rude posts were written because you actually thought my post was somehow a dig at you (goodness knows how). It wasn't. I had never noticed before a scenario where those on the same number of points were not listed alphabetically.

I now know the rule and will happily move on to something else in my sad petty little life. Begs the question can one happily move on anywhere in a sad life? Probably not. Sadly moving on doesn't sound right though.

To move sadly on might split an infinitive... which is sad.

And to say there is an element of luck is to cast a slur on my genius footballing nous viz this weeks results - the idea!

Just because it's true that any week I do well is sure to be one of unusual not to say silly results.

Yours,

Mystic max

I don't know if it's a reflection on the makers(?) of the game or what they think their players are like, but the 2nd tie-break rule is, after 'correct results' it goes to 'correct outcomes'. If points are equal and correct results are equal then correct outcomes must be...........

I thought you were using witchcraft or some such?

    • I’d also recommend Paul for electrical work. He came round the other week to help us out with a handful of jobs (installing an SPD, new light fittings, installing a dimmer switch, a bathroom fan). His quote was cheaper than what I got from others, he turned up on time and he got the job done quickly.
    • We’d like to add our recommendation for Lukasz and team at L&L Building & Maintenance.  Lukasz has recently installed a roof terrace for us, and we’ve found him a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We contacted about a dozen recommended builders and found his quote very competitive. During the build his team delivered quality work, they were no hassle in the house at all and they kept the place tidy every day. The terrace looks great, and we’re very happy customers. What stood out in particular was Lukasz’s responsiveness, right from discussing quotes to follow-up during the build. Lukasz often checked in and was always available when we needed him.  We’ll definitely contact Lukasz again for future building work and we’d happily recommend him to others looking for a reliable builder.   Lukasz Kugaczewski L&L Building & Maintenance 07926651960 [email protected] www.landl-build.com
    • Yes, I did mention the train, which I now get from East Dulwich to Guys instead of the 40. Depends where in East Dulwich you are starting from which route is easiest! I think it is probably lack of staff rather than lack of hospitals which is the problem?
    • What can be done? How about reporting it to the police?
