Update - the cat has an owner apparently.

Post closed.

I’m posting this message about a stray cat on behalf of my neighbour who isn’t on the forum.

He says:-

I discovered a cat who appears to be lost or abandoned at the corner of Dovercourt Road and Court Lane this morning.  It is in very poor health.  If anyone knows of someone who has lost a cat over that way, or knows of someone who could share this info then I’d be grateful.

HI - did you see the other post from an hour ago about the same cat???

Can the neighbour knock on some doors locally? Could be a local oldie out and about but always worth checking out.

I have a microchip scanner if anyone wanted to scan for a chip but am over in Nunhead [you'd have to contact a vet to get them to check any number on their database].

    • I suspect it is really difficult as stuff gets ground in and that is the problem. My own view is the event should be moved to a more suitable site. It is fairly clear they want to expand, I think that is the biggest problem, the risk of the event getting extended or other event organisers getting in on the action. It is great that the barriers are down and the park can be fully enjoyed again. The damage to grass does not seem as bad this year; I suspect that is because there has been much less rainfall.
    • We used Tom King recently to repair two light switches and have used him in the past for moving a plug socket. He's a lovely guy as well as the utmost professional. Very reliable and helpful, talks you through what's needed with a repair and charges reasonable rates, especially as some electricians charge the earth in this area now. Highly recommended!
    • Does anybody have a wildlife night vision camera in good working order which they no longer use? If you have one, please message me, thanks x
