Garden Landscaping
Hello all, Some before and after photos of a recent paving job for a friendly client in East Dulwich. The brief was to improve the alley and make it easier for her daughter to roll her bike through to the back of the house - the previous pebbles were unstable and cumbersome. Once I had removed the existing pebbles, I dug out the mud to lay MOT sub base and sand before setting the pavers. The project needed to be completed on a budget so we utilised the original pebbles to run alongside the pavers, which adds a nice decorative effect too. We also used some small recycled slabs from another part of the garden to fit awkward spaces. As you can see, the larger pavers are staggered - this was to disguise the fact that the edge of the alley does not run parallel with the house. This was conducted by suggestion of my client and a good idea she was happy with. My musically talented client was very pleased with the result and it was a pleasure to work with her. If you have a garden task you’d like some help with, feel free to message me here or WhatsApp/text/call me on 07884432021. Many thanks!
