Guitar, Piano & Bass Guitar Teacher - Lessons available

Hello

I'm looking to take on a few more local pupils over the coming weeks. I've lived locally for over 10 years and I found many of my pupils on this forum, so hopefully it will come up trumps with some nice people again!

I'm a 32 year old musician with 10 years of top level playing experience, having toured internationally with a number of well known artists, recently including Sir Tom Jones, Ed Sheeran & Alfie Boe. I'm primarily a bass player, but end up playing guitar and keys a lot too!

I have lots of experience in teaching all three instruments both privately and in music schools. I also have a Master's Degree from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama.

I believe that people should enjoy the music they learn, so I try to focus on playing music my pupils enjoy, whilst still being able to back this up with good technique and theory when needed!

I'm currently based by Peckham Rye and am happy to travel locally around East Dulwich and surrounding areas.

Please email [email protected] or PM me for more details!

Cheers

Jon

  • 2 weeks later...

Hi I've had a few people asking how much I charge, so figured I may as well put the information up here. My rate is ?30 per hour, ?20 for 40 mins or ?15 for 30 mins (advisable for children only).

Still have room for a couple more pupils. Thanks!

    • Hi, does anyone have their up to date number please?
    • I imagine Franco Manca's business dropped off quite a bit when Yard Sale opened (though isn't Yard Sale delivery only?) But in any case, both of those are chains.
    • Thanks. I'll call them shortly as I could get there without the car.  That's good of Sainsburys! We've done the apple pie and tart thing, an ongoing muesli thing and the coleslaw thing - just not sure what effect all the sugars are having on our digestive tracts.  If we were in Somerset and had a press, I'd consider it. Can't be that diffcult, can it?
    • One time Sainsbury's delivered 6 bags of apples instead of 6 single apples which I couldn't possibly get through. I phoned Pecan in Peckham to ask if they would accept them despite their website stating no fresh foods. I must have phoned at just the right time as they were happy to accept them. Sainsburys gave me a refund so the donation was courtesy of them. Or you could experiment with all kinds of apple recipes and write a blog about it
