Ridgeback Dimension 24” Wheel Blue Kids Bike. Suits kids 140-150cm tall aged 9-13.  £135. 

Retailed new at £429.99. Super lightweight with manufacturers advertised weight of 9.5kg. The equivalent Frog 62 is 9.25kg.

Bike has been serviced. Brakes adjusted and cables replaced. Headset, chain, wheel bearings and bottom bracket checked and serviced where necessary for smooth running. Tyres have adequate wear remaining. Shimano 7 speed gears have been indexed and are running well. Bike has been cleaned and lubed ready to ride.

Metallic blue aluminium frame is in good condition. Some scratches and paint chips, mainly around rear forks. See photos. 

Security marked and registered with bike register. Ownership will be transferred upon purchase.

    • Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
