Bought this to use as a desk last year but circumstances changed and it hasn’t really been used and we don’t need it any more.

It is solid wood with metal handles. Think it was about £150 and made in a traditional way but does have a couple of flaws.

c77cm tall

c110cm wide

c39cm deep

Offering this for free but would appreciate a donation to my child’s school’s PTA (cash to me is fine!) if you can.

Collection Nunhead.

Thanks

Joe

I have tried to show in the 3rd picture. There is a knot on the corner of one of the legs which ideally shouldnt be there (it doesnt seem to cause an issues and you could argue it shows character!). Also in the 3rd picture you can see there is a small gap between top surface of the desk and the bit below it. Again, it is still sturdy etc but I'm pretty sure wasn't designed that way!

    • I'm payg on ee as long as I use my phone at least one month it's fine.my last top up was in December 2024 lol
    • I think even with PAYG you need to top them up at least every 6 months or the provider may well consider it inactive.
    • If your old mobile is a sim free phone.then yes any pay as you go sim card will work.if say your old mobile was on a certain network then you will need one of their sim cards .as sim cards come in all shapes and sizes🤔
    • This presumably hasn't been done by vandals. It's hardly a Sycamore Gap situation. So if it's been done by professionals, unless it was a mistake (unlikely) there must have been a good reason, as it would have cost money. It would perhaps have been a good idea to put a notice on the tree explaining why such drastic work was done, but usually (I think) it would be either because of disease (often not noticeable on the surface) or that the roots or branches  were endangering nearby structures. As already said, nobody on here is likely to know. The tree department in Southwark Council are helpful in my (admittedly limited) experience. Please post on here when you have found out, as I agree what's left of the tree looks pretty odd. Depending on why the work was done, possibly they intend to remove the rest as well?
