I would 100% recommend Matt for any garden work you might have in mind. Matt built me a raised flower bed for my patio and his passion for green spaces is just an inspiration. It was such a pleasure to work with him. He's creative, handy and genuinely a nice guy. He suggested a selection of plants for the amount of sun I get on my patio and helped me with the right plant combinations based on colours, height, width, so that a previously boring spot of the patio now looks like a real eye-catcher. I'm over the moon with the result. He's also a real problem-solver. There was a resistant tree trunk that needed removing, tiles that were broken and needed replacing and an unlevelled surface that all got dealt with swiftly. I'm now planning on phase 2 of the patio revamp where we'll be putting in decking and some gravel, replacing the fence and putting in a piece of lawn for our puppy. Speaking of which, he also came up with a separator so he wouldn't jump into the flower beds.

I would also highly recommend Matt and Harri. They are hardworking, knowledgeable, friendly and clear about costs and timings.

They came last October to cut back overgrown hedges, took out some sickly bamboo (including digging out a tangle of roots), jet washed paving and installed fencing for me. They have advised me which plants would work and sent me detailed listings of those plants including costings.

Matt is a great communicator and replied very quickly to my initial query, visiting promptly to view the job as well as emailing a detailed quote and maintaining communication by text and phone. They did the job that I wanted, in the time frame that I wanted and at the price they had quoted. I was so pleased with their work and feel comfortable having them around (genuinely nice guys as the previous review mentioned) that I am now having them back to do the next job of sourcing suitable plants and planting them into the spaces that were cleared last autumn.

    • I am trying to find out about people's experiences of the 4+ and 7+ assessments. I am a teacher and have a wealth of experience tutoring for theses assessments (including my own son), but it's always good to keep on top of things as they always make tweaks to them. TIA!
    • "You have no idea why"   To be fair Sue, it's blindingly obvious to anyone who has a conversation with anyone who isn't a Corbyn supporter. And even some who liked Corbyn (like me initially) found him somewhat flaky even at his most popular But let's say you are right and I have NO idea why anybody might not vote for him. They still didn't vote for him. He lost two elections. The second one badly (and strongly predicted but the stubborn old goat wouldn't budge so we we were stuck with Johnson and another 3 million PMs in the 5 years that followed) So even with ZERO evidence, we have our eyes and ears and brains But we do have evidence   https://yougov.co.uk/politics/articles/27022-their-own-words-why-voters-abandoned-labour
    • As I said, it was my understanding. I worded it very carefully. I didn't/don't know for sure, so clearly not a fact. And hardly an "opinion", which is something completely different. You have no idea what reason anybody might have had for not voting for him (unless you can point to some opinion poll results which actually asked people?)
