KikiMac
I've posted this in the trades section but got nowhere so wondered whether you lovely family types might be able to help.We have a broken Buzz Lightyear space buggy. It is (I think) a straightforward problem with the rear axel but I need someone who understands mechanics better than me to mend it. Anyone know anyone handy with that kind of thing? Saffron
You could try the bicycle shop maybe? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/34948-toy-mender/#findComment-667392 Share on other sites
KikiMac
Nice idea... Could try but i didn't mention it is battery operated and remote controlled, so may be more elsctrical than the bike shop could do... Saffron
Depends on what's broken. If the electronics are fine, but the axel has broken or slipped its gear, then someone who's good with bikes could probably replace or rethread the axel if its metal. However if the broken parts are plastic, it would be much more difficult to repair without correct replacement pieces. If the problem is electrical, then you might get a local electrician to take a quick look.Did you contact the maker, or shop where you bought it?Could you post a picture, so we have a better idea of what it looks like / what might be wrong with it?
