dead birds

in the last week, I have found 3 dead birds in our garden, two pigeons and a blackbird.

I am unsure if our cat is killing them (no signs of attack really, with the birds being 'neat and tidy' in position) or finding them dead.

i noticed the blackbird had a wound in its side, so wondering if someone is shooting them?!

Its odd, as I have never seen any before now.

Wondered if anyone else has experienced this?

I am on Ivydale Road, Nunhead.

We identified a sparrow hawk demolishing a pigeon in our garden a couple of weeks ago

I have seen kids with laser pen things. Don't know if it is possible to blind a bird using one of them? But as far as cats are concerned, put a collar with a bell on it. Save the birds!

we also had a Sparrow hawk attach a few weeks ago.

Also had birds flying into the patio doors quite a few times

over the last few years. A sparrow crashed this morning,

caused my misses to spill her cuppa all over herself.

Fortunately it recovered before the cats pounced.
