Mike has essentially re-wired all the dodgy wiring in my flat. Unlike everyone else, he booked me into his diary and actually turned up! Great job, reaonable price, and good for a laugh. He has fixed a few things since and I will always use him if I need any electrics doing in the future. Thanks Mike!

Another recommendation for Mike. Asked Mike to come round at short notice to fit 3 ceiling lights in our bathroom, sounds easy but having been sold the wrong fittings from a shop and having non standard ceiling holes Mike was great at finding a solution and getting me a refund on the original parts! Would definitely use again.

Mike was really good because he not only checked circuits and wiring but was really quick to reply to my questions regarding fixtures and fittings to use. I'm using him again soon. He knows a lot about the types of light bulbs to use and was great with his recommendations

    • Ha ha that's hilarious - how wonderfully embarrassing for Reform!
    • Closing down completely. The lovely people there are all retiring. Thanks, but Deptford is a long way to go to make two journeys to  take and collect a car! Do they not do even relatively minor repairs if it fails its MOT first time? Then that would require four journeys 😭 Wondering if there's already a thread on here for garage recommendations? People on my road WhatsApp group have recommended some local ones. I'm particularly gutted because apart from the lovely people who worked there,  Dell was a five minute walk for me!
    • I did think that might be the reason, but five years out of seven it's going to be a weekday (I think. Not sure how leap years might affect things!)
    • Probably because the 5th was a weekday. We still have the weekend to come. Also, some fireworks going off nearly every night for the last few months. Last night something was being let off that made a very deep booming noise every 10 seconds or so. That said, if the general public are beginning to see the harm done by firework noise and choosing to use low noise options and refusing to support organised events that still use the full throttle type, I for one would be very happy. Does anyone know if the Herne Hill Velodrome Halloween fireworks event used low noise options?
