Year 11 Success - GCSEs

If you have a child going into Year 11 and would like some help setting them up for success in their GCSE exams, please get in touch for an introductory conversation.

Having completed my GCSEs last year (nine grade 9s & two grade 8s), I believe that getting organised and taking a structured approach to studying can make an enormous difference. Parents tend to focus on content and seek out conventional tutoring from subject-matter experts to support students in particular subjects. While this is important, aspects such as planning and study strategies are often overlooked. Getting these things right represents half the battle in a student achieving the best grades they can get in their GCSEs.

I offer one-off sessions to help set up healthy working habits for the year ahead or weekly tuition to provide on-going support. I can combine this with more conventional content tutoring in Maths (including Further Maths), Science, History and other subjects.

Please email me at [email protected]

    • I thought the most they sell in terms of hot food at londis is like pastries and sausage rolls and for hot drinks its like costa coffee but its always a convenience store. Doesn’t look too bad in my opinion considering that shop has been closed down ever since i moved here
    • Hi Busterb, Yesterday I turned up with a scanner & towels, hoping to take a deceased tabby down to TNV. The body was moved moments before arrival & had not been turned in to any vets, rescues or animal hospitals. I am wondering if this could have been the same cat & if someone just tried to move the tabby further away from the road. Please be warned, viewers discretion is advised. but this is what the deceased tabby looked like: https://www.facebook.com/groups/900015513463302/permalink/3729980853800073/  In any case, if you haven't been able to get someone to scan or take down to a vet, I can scan tomorrow morning.
    • Wholeheartedly recommend Aria. He was polite, responsive and sorted our leak, from an old tap on an old plumbing system, with no bother and on same day.
    • GP not willing to refer you on? Say, to King's or similar. Odd
