It would be the best thing that's happened to the product known as the Premier League as far as I can remember. I genuinely hope they win it. I'm tired of the same old same old. It would be a real boost to the league.

I found the antics of those wonderful Chavski "fans" booing the players and attaching no blame whatsoever to the toxic Mourinho for what's gone on as both laughable and an indictment of them as a group. Everything about the club is toxic. Mourinho, the club, the fans, players and Abramovich deserve each other.

Surely you'd prefer Arsenal to win it. It's been quite a while.

I had no intention of goading you Atila. I asked a genuine question.

I know, this blind faith in a manager or player has to be one of the worse things about the modern football fan. We saw it at Liverpool with the Suarez/Evra incident.

I can't believe some Utd fans would be happy for Mourinho to become manager. As well as his antics, his style of football can be just as pragmatic and boring to watch as LVG's...

Hmm, LFC made some stupid decisions over that, which I think made a lot of fans cringe (the t-shirts especially). But I still now stand by my belief that it was more about stupidity and naivety than intent to racially abuse. I think even Evra acknowledged that.
Whether the abuse was intentionally racist or not, Evra was clearly the victim of it. That didn't stop the vast majority of Liverpool fans booing him at the next Liverpool/Utd match as if he was somehow to blame. Some even accused him of making it all up. That's the blind loyalty I'm talking about...

    • Maybe if you indicated what you were reviewing, pub, gastro pub, high-end gourmet, local Italian etc. - whatever classifications you wanted, then you need only indicate that your stars referred to overall quality in that category. So it it's pub grub then 5 stars means it's great pub grub, but not the same experience as 5 stars in a high end gourmet category. Your star system could then include implicitly value for money as well.
    • Does OP know they can sell everything but alcohol even without a license?😄
    • Thanks, it's a real dilemma whether to do star ratings. A few people have asked me to do them but I've tried to resist as they are too reductive - people will look at them and won't read review! and they are difficult too - my last review of Victoria Inn, i'd give it five stars for value for money - how can you knock two courses for £18? – but 2 stars for quality - edible but nothing special. Which I guess is why some sites give star ratings for different things...
    • ok - Jeremy himself is against mandatory vaccines. Is he as extreme as his brother? No? Is it fair to discuss how the overall view of that family would inform Jeremy's response to the pandemic? I would argue very much so
