Hi everyone 🙂

I am a creative and fun nanny living in Lewisham/Blackheath, looking for a lovely family to join 2/3 days a week. A bit about me:

I love being a nanny, have over 10 years of experience in childcare, and am confident working with and catering for the many physical and emotional needs of young babies as well as children of all ages. I've worked as a nanny and live-in Au Pair; in London, France, as well as teaching English in Italy. More recently I worked as a nanny for two families; a nanny share; with five children- all under 6. Most recently I worked 4 days a week for two lovely families with two adorable 1 yos; the parents of all of whom would be more than happy to give references. I'm currently still with the same family but their little one has gone to nursery, so am looking to replace the hours. Ideally looking for 20-30h roughly per week but am always happy to discuss options as each family is unique in their needs. I love being silly and getting creative with kids, doing lots of art, storytelling, trips to the park, singing etc!

I am fully DBS checked, and have my paediatric first aid certificate. I am musically trained, with Grade 8 on the Piano and Grade 6 on theTtrumpet. I write & perform music on the side, and am always incorporating music into my care duties; singing, playing games & music in the kitchen etc, as I strongly believe that music is a brilliant tool for life, and a way of connection, creatively enhancing the worlds of children of all ages and their development.

I am available for ad hoc babysits, and am available to start as early as September 2024.

Please feel free to contact me on here and I'll get back to you with my details, I'm looking for a lovely new family & fit!

    • Well actually it doesn't.  I've just entered various post codes, some in SE15 and the same blue shaded area as shown in my first post still appears.  Although it is true that additional blue shaded areas can be viewed. I think Penguin is probably correct in that it indicates an area of low pressure.  Might have saved us all time had I just PM'd penguin straight away.  They generally have a good insight into most things .
    • Halfway stage of the season. Week 18 points...   Week 18 table...
    • I cannot speak highly enough about my experience with Yousef and his team for my recent house move in East Dulwich. Downsizing and relocating  my stuff from a house to a flat was made a calm and pleasant experience. The move included large and heavy items of furniture, taking items apart and reassembling in the new place, as well as loads of boxes. Nothing was too much trouble. I can thoroughly recommend this service, you will not be disappointed!
    • If you have a leak, and are not able to use the interactive map then you can register for text message updates or you can call the free number for updates the blue shaded area depends on which postcode you enter when you search
