We are looking for a nanny from the end of October to end of Jan, to do 2 days a week to look after our baby (he will be 10 months). We are based in Herne Hill, and we have another older boy who’s 3, at the Herne Hill School full time. So it would be extra helpful to get applicants who’d also be open to extra hours/ older kid activities during school holidays.

Ideal hours to begin with would be 9.30/10am- 4/4.30pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (but I can be flexible on days). The aim is to keep these hours for November and December then increase them at the end of February to 3 + days. (We are away for 4 weeks from end of Jan to end of Feb)

We are looking for someone experienced, fun and loving. Someone who’s happy taking the baby out and about, playing games at home, prepping food, and keeping on top of mess.

We also have a friendly dog!

Get in touch please if this suits you or you know anyone.

    • On the nostalgia side, I don't think anything can replace the clatter of the metal crates and the whirr of the milk float making its short hops. • I highly recommend anyone wanting to learn manual driving to use Nicholas Driving academy, great instructor who makes things easy to learn while being calm and fun reducing stress. Highly recommend!
    • I view this as a bit of unnecessary political point scoring. I mean, it's not as if she has more important things on her mind. She should get a rap on the knuckles but resignation? I don't think so. Quite how the Tories have the temerity to point fingers after the shambles and outright corruption that took place over Covid, I really don't know.
