Hi!

My name is Zaheera. I am a qualified English & French teacher and a GCSE examiner. If you’re a parent looking for some academic support for your child, or an adult looking to learn a new language, I’m here to guide you on that journey!

My English and French tutoring services are available for students from Key Stage 1 through to A Levels, as well as adult learners.

Here's what you can expect when you choose me as your tutor:

  • Personalised tutoring: Tailored lessons based on individual student needs, goals, and learning styles.
  • GCSE/A Level exam preparation: Focused support on exam techniques, past papers, and time management strategies.
  • Speaking and writing proficiency: Development of spoken fluency, pronunciation, and writing skills in both languages.
  • Homework support: Assistance with assignments and homework.
  • Assessment feedback: Provide insight into what examiners look for, helping students understand mark schemes, avoid common mistakes, and structure their answers effectively to maximise marks.

I currently have available slots for tutoring on Mondays and Wednesdays online only.

Kind Regards,

Zaheera

    • Thanks, I'll try. I don't think I'm near to renewal, but they may do something as I've been with them for so long, if I say I'll look elsewhere at renewal if they don't!  What difference does the line speed make? Does it affect the signal at various points through the house? When I changed to fibre, the guy who installed it really resisted having the router where it had been before, at the back of the house,  presumably because it would have been a lot more work for him having to run wires through, over doors etc? At the time I was working at the front as my office at the back had become so dark (adjacent loft extension) so I wasn't too bothered, but I've since moved back. I've got those plug in extension things, but the WiFi at the back is now sometimes quite iffy, particularly the printer, which is annoying.

His videos are strongly hypnotic, affectionate and fun. And he's got a point. It is a bit odd that North Dulwich is one stop south of East Dulwich... https://www.instagram.com/reel/DNTbY9wMFOw/
    • I’d just like local family businesses to not be shut down by big chains, and I think we should support local businesses and our community. I’m sure they are very nice people who pay their taxes too.
