HIRING A PART-TIME PERSONAL ASSISTANT

12+ HOURS A WEEK

I own a wellness business run from my home in SE26

Can you help make my headaches vanish by handling some of these details?

ARE YOU SOMEBODY WHO.....

* Is superb at handling details

* LOYAL & hardworking

* Solutions based & creative thinker

* Is so productive your last employer considered hiring two people to replace you after you left?!

* Strong communicator with good computer skills

* Comfortable in a fast paced small biz environment where priorities can change quickly.

* Is interested in wellness and sustainability (no experience necessary)

YOU’LL ASSIST WITH…..

- Keeping a house with young children clean, tidy, organized and up to date.

- Family organisation for diary including school emails, appointments, deliveries etc

- House upkeep including organising quotes and managing appointments for builders, general repairs etc.

- Planning family meals including food purchase and prep.

- Running other local errands.

- Additional babysitting hours in the evening (not essential)

This post could be ideal for a school mum or a young person looking to gain experience for a production based career.

I am looking for someone that will make me wonder how I ever survived before having him or her.

The right personal assistant will reduce my workload, prevent me having to deal with small tasks, make decisions on my behalf so I can simply give feedback for next time, and free up my schedule in general.

Your main Key Performance Indicator is how much free time you have enabled me on a weekly basis to spend on restorative alone time and quality time with my children, friends and communities.

1 month trial, hours by negotiation, £14/hr

Please DM to apply. No formal resume required.

Extensive experience does not impress me but common sense, a love of learning, emotional stability and high emotional IQ certainly does.

Can’t wait to hear from you!!

Looking for a nanny, private chef, receptionist, property manager and cleaner but willing to pay £14/h. Oh and you're supposed to do all this in 2-3h per day. And I'll be monitoring your performance and tracking your KPIs. And you'll have to be LOYAL. But think of the learning opportunities!

Yikes!

    • Great shout. They do need the extra fat when it’s winter, but don’t use fat balls from April as they are dangerous for nestlings as the babies can choke on lumps of the fat. When it gets milder switch to suet pellets as they are harder and don’t melt (the grease is bad for feathers.
    • Rather alarmist. There is unlikely to be snow this week, but even if there is that is natural and wildlife adjust accordingly. There are fewer insects to eat due to what humans have done to the planet over the decades.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decline_in_insect_populations  In particular: Habitat Loss and Fragmentation: Agricultural Chemicals: Climate Change: Pollution: Invasive Species: There is even a case for not feeding birds due to the spread of disease through feeders, greenfinch population was decimated.   https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2025/jan/24/should-we-stop-feeding-birds-what-happens-if-we-do-and-does-it-spread-disease   I do feed the birds but keeping a watching eye on the evidence.   And I try to grow insect and bird friendly plants including attempts at a meadow.   There could also be an argument for not keeping cats as these may decimate bird populations.   https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2022/aug/14/cats-kill-birds-wildlife-keep-indoors   You will need squirrel proof feeders and even then you may have the starlings and green squwaky things eating most of the food left out for small birds.
    • Apparently this year due to the weather there are fewer insects for the birds to eat. So please if you don’t usually buy fat balls & seeds to put out (in safe places to avoid the cats ) a plentiful supply . They really need it this year, especially with snow forecast later this week.    Thankyou
    • I hope she and the rider of the bike are ok. I feel its understandable that locals may be concerned when they see a road taped off and police presence.
