Does anyone on here own it, or know who might?

I noticed it earlier and made a fuss of it. It has no collar and was quite skinny. Don't know why, but I had the feeling it was lost. When I walked past later on it was still there. Went back tonight and saw it again.

I'm probably just being daft but I'm worried about it. Does anyone recognise it? I asked a lady in the street and she said its always there.

Keep an eye on it then if it still looks lost why not see if a local charity can scan for a microchip?

I did the same years ago, there was a lost looking cat, i was so convinced it was lost and so i took it home and rung around, a local cat charity came and scanned the chip and we found out the cat actually belonged to someone and it had been lost for a few weeks and lived miles away. It was reunited with a very relieved family.

I live on Matham and know the cat you are talking about, however I do not know where it lives, though he is very friendly. He is usuall near the lordship lane exit though today was sleeping on our window sill..

Uh he is lost it would be good to have him reunited

    • Who is disrespecting the term “Blighty”   I see people questioning it’s common usage in 2025 i see people calling out organisations who use it to scam people  but the term Blighty itself? Nope “we r” in front of anything does add context mind you
    • "Blighty" is a British slang term for Britain or England, ultimately derived from the Urdu word "vilāyatī," meaning "foreign" or "European," according to Wiki, and was mainly used in the 19th Century and then WWI. It is thus a non English loan word. But I'm sure you knew that.
    • Forum members not knowing or disrespecting the term "good old Blighty' need to give their lack of  educational heads a wobble!
    • I didn't ask you whether or not Brexit happened! I am sadly only too well aware that it did! I asked you what were its positive effects! I'm not able to quote the whole post I'm referring to and your answer, apparently, so here's a screenshot .  You don't seem to have answered anything I asked?
