Hi!

I'm Fergus, a Queen's University Belfast student reading Law LLB, originally from East Dulwich and attended the Charter School North Dulwich. I have a clean DBS, which i have from volunteering as a Scout leader for the past year and a half. I have gained good communication skills with all children aged 8-18, as a result of manning Cubs and Explorers, and occasionally Scouts at the 25th Camberwell Scouts and Dulwich Explorers.

Politics - £35/hour - I have 100,000 words worth of politics notes and essay plans that I can send your child, which helped me immensely. I did the A-Level this year, and got a high A. I have essay plans and fully written essay on every past question to ever come up. I have the most up to date notes you could possibly get. I know exactly how to do well in this A-Level. These tips and revision methods took me from a U at the end of year 12 to an A at the end of year 13. With that level of improvement, and the expertise I've gained along the way, I guarantee I will help your my tutees improve.

Spanish - £35/hour - I also got a very high A, remarkably improving from the D I got in year 12. I know exactly how to improve both passively and actively, and can not only provide the best materials, sources and methods of how to revise, but I can also provide advice on my best studying locations I used for my A Levels, and the best revision techniques in general, which work for any subject. Here, not being a native is my strength - I not only know how to speak Spanish, I know how to learn it firsthand as well. I don't give answers such as "well it just sounds right to me", rather I teach you how to make it sound right.

EPQ (External Project Qualification) - £35/proof read AND hour-long meeting discussing the essay - I got 47/50, a near-perfect A*, and wrote a 4,378 word essay on how and why the Anglo-Saxons created one of the largest burial hoards ever found, the Staffordshire Hoard, and created an homage to the battle procession cross found, a pewter crucifix with some of the original symbols, and my own symbols with the original meanings, engraved. I improved my EPQ from a D in January to an A* May. I know how to make these improvements, exactly how to reference and format them, and how to proof-read and perfect the prose of the essay. I am beyond confident I can do the same with my tutees.

I know exactly how to make the improvements that everyone doubted I could make. Your child will achieve the same with my help.

    • some titles are "protected" ie you have to have certain qualifications and be registered with the supervising council https://www.hcpc-uk.org/about-us/who-we-regulate/the-professions/ Dietician is registered and protected Nutricionist is neither. Anyone can claim to be a nutricionist or chiropracter etc
    • It didn't occur to me to ask. No idea if dieticians are employed within the NHS. It is just one line of enquiry among others. The GP mentioned it, not me.
    • I thought the most they sell in terms of hot food at londis is like pastries and sausage rolls and for hot drinks its like costa coffee but its always a convenience store. Doesn’t look too bad in my opinion considering that shop has been closed down ever since i moved here
    • Hi Busterb, Yesterday I turned up with a scanner & towels, hoping to take a deceased tabby down to TNV. The body was moved moments before arrival & had not been turned in to any vets, rescues or animal hospitals. I am wondering if this could have been the same cat & if someone just tried to move the tabby further away from the road. Please be warned, viewers discretion is advised. but this is what the deceased tabby looked like: https://www.facebook.com/groups/900015513463302/permalink/3729980853800073/  In any case, if you haven't been able to get someone to scan or take down to a vet, I can scan tomorrow morning.
