Moses basket and wooden rocker £40

John Lewis Moses basket for sale, together with wooden stand/rocker. Can include mattress and sheets if needed.

Our baby slept amazingly in this during the night and also for naps in the day. The basket was cosy and comfortable with a lambskin inside and the rocker meant he could lie next to us while we ate a meal and feel involved. So useful to pick up and move from room to room too- much lighter than most cribs. He slept comfortably in it at night until about 6 months, and then could still use it for daytime naps for another month or so. Whether or not you buy this one, I would definitely recommend this set up to all new parents!

Basket retails at £65: https://www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-anyday-moses-basket-fitted-sheet-blanket-set-white/p5496269?s_ppc=2dx92700079681389465_brand_mixed_BAU&tmad=c&tmcampid=2&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAAD2el1z25WrJ7rWOWdhZrjHEIOp_0&gclid=Cj0KCQjwj4K5BhDYARIsAD1Ly2rZdv4lXGZoqikws1mM4dGqD5p4CHDJLly7bZX9YZLZ65hqVdzWk3EaAlwQEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

    • It is not laziness that sends me shopping on the Internet, it's also the better choice, better prices, and also the availability of items impossible to obtain either locally or in central London. I try to avoid Amazon for both ethical and quality issues.  The internet has enabled many small businesses to trade which would not have been possible before, surely that's a good thing.  The genie is well out of the bottle.
    • @Azalea I'm pretty sure that was The Jubilee pool it was off the avenues near the estate. I do miss living in W10!
    • when high streets are filled with betting shops, pound shops, empty sites and just run down - as is the case in many places - of course people don't want to go there - either for essentials or to hang out or shop-shop. a multi-fronted approach is exactly what is needed - upgrade the areas, encourage footfall, encourage new shops etc - BUT that has to be supported by consumers - who need to stop being lazy with amazon and home deliveries and make better choices.
