I am a local mobile Beauty therapist and local mother. I am wanting your views of maybe attending local playgroups and offering mini, affordable treatments. I am thinking head massages, mini manicures and hand massages for 5.00 each. If any of you mummy's would be interested in this please let me know and let me know what play groups you attend to see if it would be possible or if their are any playgroup organisers on here that think their mummy's would enjoy a bit of pampering please contact me to organise.

How about the baby groups at crooked & well? I would have loved a quick mani or eyebrow tidy whilst on mat leave.

Perhaps call the crooked & well and ask them?

I think their age range is pretty good too (basically non moving babies).

Think mums of younger babies would find this easier to master than toddler mums.

Brilliant idea - best of luck!

Think midivydale is right- once they reach toddler age a mani/pedi would be quite tricky! Does the bumps and babes nct group still run on a Friday morning over on Red Post Hill? That would be ideal if so - or what about tapping in to NCT mums and babies informal meet ups, a lot of those tend to happen in people's houses especially early on and I'd have thought a therapist would be a welcome addition!

I've just had various treatments from Kayleigh and am over the moon with the outcome and the price.

She's very professional and was incredibly patient around my twin children who wanted to touch everything. Kayleigh deserves to have a successful business....and I for one will continue to use her great service.

    • Tennis got really popular over the COVID period and all the clubs round here ended up with long waiting lists.   Put yourself on the list for all of them anyway, things might move faster than you think, definitely for Dulwich Sports as they may be about to get planning permission to build new courts.  Ask about off-peak membership if you work from home, it's often much easier to get and some clubs will give priority to off-peak members when full places come up.   In the meantime, most of the clubs on your list offer group and individual coaching to non-members with a guest fee.   And sign up for local tennis leagues which organises matches at all levels in the local parks - there's a league for Kennington and Brockwell Parks which is really good and a slightly gentler one for Belair and Dulwich Parks.  I did this for a couple of years and had a lot of fun.   https://www.lta.org.uk/compete/adult/local-tennis-leagues/
    • I used Aria on Monday to solve some plumbing issues including a leaky outdoor tap.  Excellent service and a really nice guy. I'll be using him again no doubt.
    • We needed a switch replaced - small job but necessary. Terry responded very quickly to our request and was prompt to arrive, polite and professional and completed the job quickly and without fuss.
    • Does it need to be a tennis club specifically? JAGS has a lot of courts.
