I have been using the 5G broadband service from 3 for about 3 years and I've rarely had issues.Β I have a separate router for the WiFi around the house so can't comment on the quality of the WiFi from the 3 5G router itself.
It could be worth moving it to a different location in your property.Β I also think there is a way to get the router to show you the 5G signal strength to help you find the best location.
Here you go, original post has this link which includes the map:Β https://haveyoursay.tfl.gov.uk/sl15-superloop
But here's the direct map: https://haveyoursay.tfl.gov.uk/43267/widgets/136130/documents/93465
It does take the P13 a loooong time to get to Tulse Hill, so actually even just cutting that part of the route out wouldn't be a bad thing for an onward connection.
