Christmas sandwich festival comes to Peckham this weekend

Don't miss the first Christmas sandwich festival in Copeland Park this weekend. It features 20 of the UK's best chefs and sandwich shops, who will all be preparing a one off sandwich for you to try. There are 4 sessions to pick from over the weekend with family tickets available too.

There will also be DJs playing party tunes, musical bingo with prizes, sing-along carols, a giant christmas tree, delicious drinks and games.

  Staff have changed and owner now taking a more active role….she is such a nice+lady so I encourage you to try again . I am all for supporting local business and personally very glad after appalling service earlier this year Gail’s has closed.. Change of staff and chefs were unreal.. In one month alone must have had at least 4 new chefs plus god knows how many waiters/ waitresses.. when Ai saw that happening, new it was gonna be down hill all the way.

  I know - we have been here lots of times since it first opened, which is why we were disappointed that it was closed at a time it was supposed to be open, but with no notice to say why! I guess we will just have to ask the reason at our next visit, but I'm not sure we will risk Saturday lunchtime again unless we find the closure was an unavoidable one off ....
