D&D club for 12 year old

Hello, I have a 12-year-old son who would love to play dungeons and dragons, but unfortunately his school doesn’t run a club and he would be a complete beginner. I wondered if anyone had children of a similar age who may be interested in playing as well?

Deptford Library run a D&D club once a month for under 14s. 
I’ve not been before but have booked a place for my 11 year old for the next one.
