Recommendation for RJP Roofing

Russell Perring from RJP Roofing has just done what looks to be a great job on our decrepit roof.

Not the cheapest of three quotes we had, but the only one who detailed all of the work required down to the type of nail he'd use & lots of photos of the roof to show us precisely what needed to be done.

Took a little while to get a slot in his schedule but once the work was timetabled, scaffolding and work started promptly and was done quickly. Russell and his guys were friendly and tidy. They even took my OH upto the roof to show him the work - all tiles removed, new membrane put on, old tiles put back, box gutters re-lined and pitched and coping stones added all the way around the parapet.

Great job.

I would second this - we recently had Russell and his team to put a new roof on our bay window - we had to wait a few weeks to get a slot in his diary but once he was here the work was done quickly and to a very high standard, and for a reasonable price - would recommend RJP and would definitely use them again if the need arose.

Thirded.

Russell has many recommendations on this forum, and for good reason.

If I ever need roofing work done again, I wouldn't bother contacting anybody else.

ETA: And unlike another tradesperson I had here recently, he didn't ask me to recommend him on this forum after he had completed the work (which took less than a minute :( (The other person took less than a minute I mean, not Russell!)

    • This is just normal business behaviour. That's why there are so many coffee shops in ED and shops selling gifts and interiors stuff, clothes, restaurants.  If there's more than one business of a similar type then it can benefit all of them up to a saturation point and keep up quality. It's all sounding like many think Chango has made a malicious move when it actually sounds like it's owned by one guy who has a good business that has done well.   Anyway this is all great advertising for both empanada places. Very close by is the organic grocer who sells really good value and very tasty samosas and other Indian snacks which are also worth trying.
    • Hello, Does this lovely little panther have a name? & Is he neutered & microchipped?
    • Well I don’t approve for a shop doing the same food to open so near - just wrong in my opinion. Why not go to the village, Peckham - foot fall would be great in Peckham and certainly more multi  cultural than ED. Village has money but doubt foot fall would be as good as ED.  At least they could have gone to the stretch leading up to Peckham Rye or why not bottom of Barry Road?? Or even North Cross Road I for one, on principal won’t be going in.
    • Heh yeah haven't even bothered to remove the emdash. The OP is AI slop as well.
